Best Etsy Bulk Editor and Bulk Listing Tools (2026)

For titles, tags, descriptions, prices and shipping profiles, Etsy’s free bulk edit is enough. Pay for a bulk editor when you need photos, alt text, video or variation prices changed on hundreds of listings, or new listings created in batches. Listadum does both on its Growth plan, and it’s built for shops with 100+ listings.

I’ve sold on Etsy since 2020. One edit takes seconds. Doing it two hundred times eats the afternoon. That’s the job you pay a bulk tool for, so I measure every tool here against what Etsy already does for free.

Do you need an Etsy bulk editor at all?

Past about 100 listings, yes, and if that’s you, you’re already a big shop. In Listadum’s October 16, 2026 snapshot of the active Etsy shops in its database, the median shop has between 3 and 16 active listings, depending on the category. A shop with 100 active listings is bigger than 3 in 4 active shops in every one of Etsy’s 15 top categories, and the top 1% have 300 or more in all 15.¹

That 100 line is our judgment from running our own shops, not something the data proves. Below it, Etsy’s own editor and an hour cover most changes. Past it, the work changes. A new photo set, an alt text pass or a price change on one size across a whole range stops being a task and becomes a day.

What Etsy’s free bulk edit covers, and what it leaves out

Etsy’s bulk edit lives in Shop Manager under Listings. You tick the listings, open Editing Options, pick an action and apply it. Etsy lists these fields as bulk editable: titles, tags, descriptions, prices, custom options, production partners, renewal options, processing profile and shipping profiles.²

Photos, videos and alt text aren’t on that list. Etsy also says it “doesn’t have a way to bulk upload new listings, but you can create one listing and copy it to save time”, and its copy steps work on one listing.²

If a tool’s best feature is bulk editing tags and prices, Etsy already gives you that.

The short version: Etsy bulk editors compared

Prices are for one shop with up to 500 listings, billed monthly unless the cell says otherwise. “Not on their pages” means the vendor doesn’t describe it, not that it’s missing.

The best Etsy bulk listing tools in 2026

1. Listadum

Best for: an Etsy-only shop with 100+ listings that needs photos, variations and new batches handled in one place, often with a VA helping.

We built Listadum for the jobs Etsy’s editor leaves out. Bulk Edit can put a new photo into the same slot on up to 1,000 listings in one run, and fill alt text from each listing’s title, either for every photo or only the ones missing it. For prices, you can set a new price, raise or lower by a percentage or an amount, round to a whole number, or change one variation and option, say the large size, on every selected listing that has it. Variation, personalization and details profiles apply in bulk too. The everyday fields are there as well: titles, descriptions, tags and materials (with search and replace), video, sections, shipping profiles, return policies, categories, attributes and renewal options.

Nothing goes to Etsy until you say so. Changes wait in a queue, and you send them with Publish changes or discard them. If a listing ends up wrong anyway, Time Machine keeps snapshots of each listing and restores its title, description, tags, materials and photos, one listing at a time.

For new products, Bulk Create turns a folder of images into listings: one subfolder per listing, up to 20 images and 2 videos each, with optional text files for the title, description, tags, price, quantity and SKU. You save them as drafts, publish or schedule. Bulk Copy sends up to 25 listings at a time to the same shop or another shop you manage. Teams lets a VA or partner work in the shop without your Etsy password, as a Member or Admin, with switches for publishing and seeing financial data.

Price: all of it is on Growth, $30 a month per shop, or $20 a month billed yearly. Max ($150 a month, or $100 billed yearly) adds AI credits, storage and API access, not more bulk tools. The Free plan has none of them. See pricing.⁴

2. Etsy’s own bulk edit (Shop Manager)

Best for: plain text, price and shipping changes on any size of shop.

It’s free, and it’s where I’d start every time the change is on Etsy’s list above. Our guide to bulk editing Etsy listings walks through it step by step.²

3. Vela

A web app for Etsy, Shopify, eBay and Faire. Its bulk editor changes prices, categories, attributes, descriptions, titles, tags and shipping and processing profiles. Variation prices take “simple, uniform changes” in the editor, and per-variation updates go through a profile, applied to “500 or fewer listings at a time”. Its pricing page lists creating new listings, copying listings and CSV import.

Two things matter for a big shop. Vela’s help page says “Bulk photo and alt-text editing is coming soon”, and its pricing page lists bulk photo editing as coming soon too. And once you sync a profile from the bulk editor, “changes cannot be reverted or un-done”. Vela is billed per shop, monthly only, from $29.95 a month on Lite or $39.95 on Plus for up to 500 listings, with a one-week trial and no free plan. 4. Evlista

An Etsy-only web app built around bulk editing. Basic ($12.95 a month or $59.99 a year) adds, replaces and deletes photos and edits tags, alt text, personalization, categories and descriptions. Pro ($19.95 a month or $197.95 a year) adds variations, videos, price and quantity editing by variation, and Magic Revert, which saves backups for photo and variation edits. One account connects unlimited shops. The Free plan edits titles and return policies.

Variations and backups need Pro, and Evlista says “you’ll lose your listing backups when you cancel your subscription”. Its page describes editing only and no bulk listing creation. On jobs over 500 listings with photos or video, it warns updates get slower “due to how Etsy throttles all 3rd party applications”.⁶

5. Sortaflow

An Etsy-only editor that puts your catalog in one spreadsheet-style view. It edits prices, titles, descriptions, tags, quantity, SKUs, sections, categories, variations, shipping profiles, videos, images, materials, attributes and personalization, and it sets variation prices by option (“+$5 for L, +$8 for XL”). You can save named edit profiles and review pending edits before you publish.

Plans cap the number of listings: The Foundry ($3.99 a month) covers up to 120, The Artisan ($9.99) up to 500 and adds the image uploader, and The MasterCraft ($15.99) has no cap and adds video upload and the CSV listing uploader.⁷

6. Shop Uploader

A spreadsheet tool for Etsy. You fill in a template and upload it: leave the listing ID blank to create a listing, or give one to update it. Its columns cover nearly every listing field, including per-variation prices, images and alt text, video, shipping and processing profiles and sections. Images and video go in as links.

You pay for uploads, not shop size: from $5 a month to create or update 50 listings, up to $39 for 500, and two months free on yearly billing. The first shop is included and extra shops cost more. The “update” action “will overwrite all information in your listing”, while “partial update” only changes the columns you give it. More than one employee can use the account, but Shop Uploader says “there is no way to limit employee access”.⁸

7. Bulk Listing Editor by Webyze

A simple Etsy editor for $8 a month, billed monthly, with a 7-day trial. It changes prices by amount or percent on listings or variations, adds and renames variation options, edits tags and materials, runs search and replace on titles and descriptions, and adds, reorders or removes images. A pre-flight check runs before each update. Its page doesn’t describe creating listings, copying or team access.⁹

8. ShopShaper

A desktop app you download for Mac or Windows. Its batch editor handles titles, prices with rounding, variation options, shipping profiles and processing times, with a preview before it applies changes. It can copy listings as drafts into the same shop or another one. There’s no subscription: a key costs $1 for a day, $14 for 30 days or $72 for a year, and month and year keys cover up to 2 shops. Undo means running the opposite edit, for example raising prices back after a 10% cut.¹⁰

Alura isn’t on this list because it’s a research and listing-optimization suite, not a bulk editor. Tools that list on several marketplaces at once, like Sellbrite and Nembol, are built for a different job.

Before you run a bulk edit on a live shop

Whatever tool you use, a bulk edit is the fastest way to make the same mistake on 300 listings. A few habits keep it boring:

• Test on 5 to 10 listings first, then open one of them on Etsy and check a photo and a variation price.
• Leave your best sellers out of the first run.
• Before a big price change, know how you’d undo it. Listadum’s Time Machine brings back a listing’s text and photos, not its prices, so note the old prices first. In other tools, check what their backups cover.
• Connect a tool through Etsy’s own sign-in screen. Etsy’s API terms don’t let apps collect your Etsy password.¹¹

How much does it cost to bulk list on Etsy?

Etsy charges $0.20 for each new listing however you create it, so 100 new listings cost $20 in listing fees. Editing a listing has no fee.
