Why analyze Etsy reviews

Reviews are the cheapest, most honest customer research you can get on Etsy. Every buyer who took five minutes to write one is telling you, in their own words, what worked and what did not. The problem is that scrolling through hundreds of comments is slow, and a 5 star average hides as much as it shows.

A 4.9 average can still contain a stubborn cluster of complaints about delivery time, sizing accuracy or a packaging detail.
