Researching any shop with the Shop Explorer

The Shop Explorer lets you look up any Etsy shop and see how it's really doing. Use it to size up a competitor, study a shop you admire, or understand a niche before you enter it.

What you see

Look up a shop and you get a full profile:

• Number of listings, with a chart of how that's changed over time.

• Sales: weekly, monthly, and all-time, each with a chart over time.

• Average price and estimated revenue.

• Dominant category: what the shop mostly sells.

• Shop age and the country it operates from.

• Top listings: the shop's best performers.

Between the sales trend, the listing count over time, and the top listings, you get a real picture of whether a shop is growing, coasting, or fading, and what's working for them.
