Reusing text blocks with Snippets

Snippets are reusable pieces of text for the parts of your descriptions you repeat across listings: shipping info, care instructions, your return policy, a sizing note. Write it once, reuse it everywhere.

Why Snippets help

Two reasons. First, you can update a block of shared text across many descriptions at once instead of editing each listing. Second, your descriptions become easier to read while you work: a Snippet shows up as @snippet-name in the description instead of the full block of text, so what's left on screen is what actually makes that listing unique.

Using a Snippet

In the description field of the Listing Editor, type the @ symbol. Listadum autocompletes with your available Snippets by name; pick the one you want. It shows up as @snippet-name in the editor so the description stays easy to read, and the field's preview mode shows the final text exactly as it will be sent to Etsy.
