Does Listadum work if my shop isn't in English? (no auto-translation)

Yes. Listadum works on whatever your listings actually say. If your titles, descriptions, and tags are written in German (or French, Spanish, or anything else), that's exactly what we read, show, and save back to Etsy.

We never auto-translate your content. We're not a translation tool sitting between you and Etsy: we connect through Etsy's official API and work with your listing fields as they are. When you bulk-edit a title, description, or tag, what you type is what gets written to Etsy, character for character. Your tags won't be converted to another language and they won't suddenly blow past Etsy's character limits because of a translation you didn't ask for.

So to be specific:

• Your German tags stay exactly as you wrote them. No translation, no conversion.
• Listadum fully supports shops whose primary language is German (or any other Etsy-supported language).
• You can bulk-edit German titles, descriptions, and tags with no language conversion of any kind.

One thing to know: Etsy lets a single listing have a primary language plus optional translations into other languages. Listadum works on your listing's primary language. We don't currently manage Etsy's separate per-language translation fields. So if German is your shop's primary language (which it is for most German sellers), you're fully covered. If you also maintain separate translated versions of the same listing on Etsy, you'd keep those up to date on Etsy directly.

One last tip: while we never translate anything, your web browser might. Chrome (and others) can be set to auto-translate pages, which would show our app, and your own listings, in a different language than what's really there. If you see translated text where you don't expect it, check that auto-translate is turned off for the Listadum site in your browser settings.
