AI credits, failed generations, and results you're not happy with

AI image generation is expensive to run, so the AI Photo Studio uses more credits than our other AI features. Here's exactly how credits behave, including when things go wrong.

What an image costs

40 credits per generated image. Five images is 200 credits.

Regenerating an image costs 40 credits again. There's no free retry, because a regeneration is a new generation on our side.

The cost is always shown before you generate, at the bottom of the Studio screen, next to your current credit balance.

What your plan includes

The AI Photo Studio is available on Growth and Max, it uses your credit allowance for each generated image.

If a generation fails

A failed generation doesn't cost you credits. If something errors out on our side and no image is produced, you're not charged for it.

If you see credits deducted for a generation that produced nothing, that's a bug and we want to know about it. Message us with the listing and roughly when it happened.

If you closed the window before saving

Your images aren't gone. Everything the Studio generates is saved to Library > Generated images and kept for 30 days, whether or not you added it to a listing.

Go to Library > Generated images, find them, and either add them to your listing or save them permanently with the + button.

If you don't like the results

This one we'll be straight about: credits are spent when an image is produced, including images you decide not to use. Generating costs us real money whether or not the result lands, so we can't return credits for results that came out but weren't to taste.

What we'd rather do is help you get a better run next time. Most disappointing results trace back to one of four things: no raw images for the AI to work from, branding not set up, a thin listing description, or the interview questions answered quickly.
