Every Listadum Plan Just Got 10x the Credits

Published on

TL;DR

We rebalanced the Listadum credit economy and multiplied the monthly credits on every plan by ten, at the same price you already pay. It is already live on your account, nothing to do.

A number of you told us the credits didn’t feel right, that your plan didn’t stretch far enough, and you were right. A bigger pool means you stop rationing cheap actions like rewriting a title, and it lets us price those differently from heavier actions like generating images. That really matters as we are adding new AI capabilities to the platform, including listing image generation coming to Listadum in the next few weeks.

You told us the credits didn’t add up

I read the messages, and a number of you said the same thing: the credits in your plan didn’t feel like enough. You would run through them faster than felt fair and end up rationing.

Here is what that looked like in practice. You open a listing. The title is fine, not great. You know the AI Helper could sharpen it in two seconds. But you glance at your balance, do a little math in your head, and decide to leave it. Maybe next time.

That is the exact opposite of what these tools are for. If you are counting credits before you hit generate, the meter is doing your thinking for you, and it is talking you out of work that would help your shop. The meter is here to maintain fair use, not to limit normal use of the platform. So you were right to flag it, and part of the problem was that the system itself was out of balance. So we fixed it.

What changed

Every Listadum plan now comes with ten times the credits it had before. Starter, Growth, and Max all got multiplied by ten. The prices did not move. Same fifteen, thirty, and one hundred fifty dollars a month, with ten times the room to actually use the AI tools.

If you are already a customer, this is done. Your balance was bumped automatically, you don’t need to resubscribe, click anything, or ask support. Open the editor and the bigger number is already there.

If you pay annually, your twenty percent credit bonus still applies, on top of the new amounts. Annual was already the better deal, and it stayed that way.

Why we did this

This is a rebalance of the credit economy, not just a bigger number. Two reasons, and the second one is why the whole thing was off.

First, the obvious part: I want you to use AI freely. Rewriting a title, drafting a description, generating tags. These are quick, cheap actions, and you should run them as many times as you want without watching the meter. Ten times the credits means most sellers will simply stop thinking about it, which is the point.

Second, the part that made the old system feel wrong. Not all AI actions are the same. Rewriting a title with the AI Helper is a small, simple job. Generating a brand new image is a much heavier one. They should not cost the same, and they shouldn’t feel the same either. On the old scale, where the cheapest action already cost a single credit, there was no room to reflect that difference. A title tweak and an image were squeezed too close together, and that imbalance is a big part of why plans didn’t stretch the way they should have.

A bigger credit pool gives us the room to be granular: to keep the cheap, everyday actions genuinely cheap, and to let the heavier ones cost more without either feeling like a punishment. We are doing this now because image generation is landing in Listadum in the coming weeks, and it is exactly the kind of heavier action that needed the extra headroom to sit properly alongside the quick stuff.

What this means day to day

Use the tools. That is the whole answer.

Iterate on a title three times until it is right. Draft descriptions across a batch of listings without rationing. Regenerate tags whenever a listing is not pulling its weight. The everyday text tools are cheap, and now the balance to run them is deep enough that you can stop doing arithmetic and start doing the work.

And when full listing image generation arrives, you will have the room to actually experiment with it, to try a few directions and pick the best one, instead of burning a month of credits on a handful of attempts.

How to start today

If you are already on a plan, there is nothing to do. Open the listing editor, pick a listing that has been bugging you, and put the credits to work. They are already there.

If you are new, the plans and prices are exactly what they were, now with ten times the credits behind them. Pick the one that fits your shop and start making better listings.

FAQ

Do I need to do anything to get the extra credits?

No. If you already have a plan, your credit balance was increased automatically. Nothing to resubscribe, click, or request. Open the editor and it is already there.

Did the prices go up?

No. Every plan costs exactly what it did before. You are getting ten times the credits at the same price.

I told you my plan didn’t have enough credits. Is this the fix?

Yes. This is a direct response to that feedback. Enough of you said the credits didn’t stretch far enough, and once we looked at it, part of the reason was that the system was out of balance. Rebalancing it and adding ten times the credits is how we are fixing it.

Why ten times specifically, and why now?

Two reasons. A bigger pool means you stop rationing cheap actions like text generation, and it gives us the room to price different actions fairly instead of squeezing everything against a floor of one credit. The timing is deliberate: image generation is coming to Listadum in the next few weeks, and it needed that headroom.

Does this mean actions cost more now?

The everyday actions you already use stay cheap. The point of a bigger pool is not to charge you more, it is to have enough range that a quick title rewrite and a heavier action like image generation don’t have to cost the same.

What about annual plans?

The twenty percent credit bonus for paying annually still applies, on top of the new ten-times amounts. Annual remains the better value.

Is image generation available now?

Not yet. It is coming in the next few weeks. This credit change sets it up so the feature lands with room to actually use it.
