Why your shop icon matters
Your shop icon is the small circular image that represents your Etsy shop everywhere on the platform: search results, your shop page, reviews, conversations, and the seller dashboard. A clean icon makes your shop look established before a buyer reads a single word.
Etsy requires shop icons to be square and recommends at least 500x500 pixels. The platform then crops your icon to a circle for display. This generator outputs a 500x500 PNG with the design centered, so nothing important gets cut off by the circular crop.
For most new shops, a 1 or 2 letter monogram is the right call.
