Founding Growth Marketer
Our first real business hire. We have grown Listadum to more than 10,000 Etsy sellers on SEO and word of mouth and almost nothing else. There is a whole side of the business (social, video, community, events) that could be a real growth engine, and we have barely touched it. We are looking for one person to help us change that.
Listadum is an all in one toolkit for Etsy sellers who treat their shop like a business. We are three years in, fully bootstrapped, no investors, and we still answer our own support emails.
We record the videos. We host the webinars. We stay the face of Listadum. What we need is the person who makes all of it actually run.
You will not do all of this on day one, and you will not do it alone. You will learn a lot of it with us. That is the point.

What the day to day looks like
- Figure out what to make. The topics, trends, and questions our sellers actually care about, and where it is worth showing up.
- Turn what we create into a steady stream of content across our channels: Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube today, with room to test new ones like TikTok and Reddit.
- Help us build and run a real community for our sellers.
- Keep our live events running smoothly while we host.
- Grow into more over time. Our newsletter, customer stories, ad creative, and more as you find your feet.
Who we are looking for
A note on level: this is an early career role, and we mean that as the opportunity it is. It is not a senior marketing job, and it is not a "just post on socials" job either. It is a first real shot for someone who wants to grow into running a big part of a business, and who is happy to do the hands on production work that gets them there. We care far more about your drive and how fast you learn than about your resume or your job titles.
- You live on these platforms already. We should never have to explain what a Reel or a subreddit is.
- You have run something of your own, even something small. A shop, a page, a side project, a community. Anything you took from nothing to actually finished.
- You get things done without being chased. This is the big one. We are a tiny team and cannot manage you day to day, so you will own your work and keep it moving on your own.
- You write clearly in English. You will draft posts and emails. We will polish, and we will pair with you early, but you have to be able to write.
Nice to have
- You run, or have run, an Etsy or online shop yourself. You would understand our customers instantly.
How it works
Fully remote
Work from anywhere with a few hours of overlap with US Pacific time.
Paid monthly as a contractor
We start you at a rate that fits your experience, and it climbs as you take on and own more. That growth is the whole idea behind this role.
A paid trial to start
We start with a paid 30 to 60 day trial on a handful of concrete things we agree on up front, so we both know by the end whether it is working.
