Etsy account already linked to another store? Merging two accounts

Última actualización el

Seeing "It looks like this Etsy account is already linked to another store on Listadum" means the shop is already connected to Listadum, under a different Listadum account. Each Etsy shop can only be connected to one Listadum account at a time.

This usually happens in one of three ways:

  • You connected each shop with a different email address, which created two accounts.

  • You signed up again with a new email and forgot about your first account.

  • Someone else (a partner, a VA) connected the shop from their own account.

Option 1: sign in to the other account

If you just want to use the shop, sign in to the account it's on:

  1. Click your profile icon at the bottom left, then Sign out.

  2. Go to listadum.com/login and enter the email address of the other account. You'll get a sign-in link by email. There's no password.

If you want all your shops under one login, we merge your accounts for you. Message support with:

  • the email address of the account you want to keep

  • the email address of the other account

  • the shop names you want moved

To confirm you own both, we'll ask you to email [email protected] from the other account's email address. Once merged, every shop appears in your left sidebar under one login, with its history intact.

What happens to my subscription?

Plans are per shop, so each shop keeps its own plan when it moves. A merge doesn't change your subscription or move it to another shop. To move a paid plan from one shop to another, cancel it on the first shop and subscribe on the second.

Copying listings between your shops

Once both shops are on the same account, you can copy listings between them with Bulk Copy. Only the shop you copy to needs the Growth plan. The shop you copy from can stay on Free. See Copying listings with Bulk Copy.

Don't delete a shop to fix this

Deleting a shop from Listadum permanently removes its data: history, snapshots, templates and profiles. A merge keeps all of it, so ask for a merge instead.

My shop shows up with a random name like "3fyxuvkbqzyr1uil"

That's a temporary Etsy account, not your real shop. It happens when you were half signed in to Etsy while connecting. To fix it:

  1. Sign in to the correct shop on etsy.com, or sign out of Etsy completely.

  2. Connect your shop again from the + button in the left sidebar.

  3. Message support and we'll remove the empty shop from your account.
