Posting your listings to Instagram
Última actualización elInstagram is a great place to show off what you make and send new buyers to your Etsy shop. Listadum lets you turn any of your listings into an Instagram post and publish it to your account, without downloading images or rewriting captions by hand.
Before you connect
A Business or Creator account. Instagram only lets apps like Listadum publish to professional accounts. Personal accounts can't be connected. Switching is free in the Instagram app, and you keep your followers and posts.
No Facebook Page needed. You sign in with Instagram directly, so there's nothing to create or link on Facebook.
Your shop's Instagram account. Log in to it in your browser first, or pick it when Instagram asks you to sign in.
How to switch to a professional account
Open the Instagram app and go to your profile.
Tap the menu in the top right.
Tap Account type and tools.
Tap Switch to professional account.
Pick the category that fits your shop best.
Choose Creator or Business, then follow the prompts.
Connect your Instagram account
Go to Promote, then Instagram, and follow the steps. Listadum sends you to Instagram to sign in, and Instagram asks you to approve two permissions so Listadum can view your profile and publish the posts you create. Once you approve, you land back in Listadum, ready to create your first post.
Create a post from a listing
Pick a listing and choose Create post. Listadum shows you the listing's images so you can choose what to share:
Single images: select up to 3 images. Each image becomes its own post.
Carousel: select between 2 and 5 images to publish them together as one swipeable post.
You can also upload your own image, or generate a new one from your listing images with AI.
Write the caption
Write your caption yourself (up to 2,200 characters), or choose Generate caption and Listadum writes one from your listing's title, description, and tags. You can edit it before posting.
Publish now or schedule for later
Publish right away, or schedule your posts for a future date and time. When you create several posts at once, you can space them out so they don't all go live at the same moment.
See your posts
The History tab lists every post you've published through Listadum, with its caption and type (image, carousel, video, or reel). Open any of them directly on Instagram. In the Listings tab, you can see how many posts are connected to each listing.
Switch accounts or disconnect
To use a different account, choose Switch account, or reconfigure Instagram in Settings, under Integrations. If you disconnect, Listadum stops posting to that account. Posts already on Instagram stay there.
Instagram sometimes asks you to sign in again, for example after a password change. If that happens, reconnect in Settings, under Integrations, with the same account.
Available on the Growth plan and above.
